Bathing Beauties

It happens every year and it started just a couple of weeks ago: a persistent and intense longing to be at the beach. I think the beach is magical, and it is. Nothing settles my restless mind like the sound of ocean waves.

I'm dreaming of laying out in the warm sun with a beer, a book, some frozen grapes, salty potato chips. Listening to the waves crash and carry my worries away.

I'm also dreaming of wearing one these awesome retro-swimsuits that are coming out and trying to capture an iota of Esther Williams beauty.
